Private label and own brand development Products that did not exist last year.

We develop own brand, private label and licensed products alongside manufacturing partners in the UK, Europe, Asia and the United States.

Development work usually arrives as a gap rather than a product. A buyer knows there is space in the category, knows roughly what it should cost, and has nobody bringing it to them.

That is the useful place to start. It means the product gets designed around the shelf it is going on, the price it has to hit and the calendar it has to land in, rather than being designed first and sold afterwards.

Our part is knowing which factory can actually deliver it. Four continents of manufacturing partners is not a boast, it is the reason a difficult brief gets a yes instead of a shrug.

What we build

Four kinds of development.

  • Own brand

Products developed under your retail brand, from concept through to shelf ready cases with artwork that clears legal.

  • Private label

Established formats made to your specification, at a cost that still leaves margin in the category.

  • New product development

Work that starts with an idea rather than a sample. Formulation, format, pack and price built together.

  • Niche briefs

Small volumes, unusual formats and tight calendars. The projects other suppliers politely decline.

The process

Brief to first production run.

  1. Brief

What the gap is, what it has to cost, and when it has to be on shelf.

  2. Match

We put it to the manufacturing partners who can genuinely make it at that spec and volume.

  3. Sample

Iterations until the product survives a buyer meeting, not just an internal tasting.

  4. Pack

Artwork, declarations, barcodes and case formats, checked against the account’s own requirements.

  5. Supply

First production run scheduled, stock landed, and a repeat order plan that holds.
